Update 17 - 3rd November
Following the Prime Minister’s announcement about new national restrictions that will come into force on Thursday 5 November, I can confirm that Warden Park Primary Academy will remain open. All plans we have in place are in line with the Public Health England, DfE and Government Guidelines. The safeguarding of children, families and staff remains our top priority.
The only change we are making to our guidance from Thursday 5th November is that we ask that all parents and carers wear a face covering when dropping off and collecting children. Although it is not mandatory for parents to wear a face covering, we ask you to do so to reduce the risk of transmission.
In order to maintain the safest possible environment for children, parents and staff it is vital that all parents and carers continue to:
- Maintain social distancing at drop-off and collection times
- Not congregate at the school gates or within the school grounds
- Ensure that their children remain next to them and are closely supervised at all times.
I urge you to visit the school website – Covid section - https://www.wardenparkprimary.co.uk/news to ensure that you are clear about our guidelines for parents, the most up to date DfE information and to view the WPPA risk assessment.
